The long beach front, historic buildings and range of entertainment facilities make Bridlington a fantastic destination on the Yorkshire Coast. Bridlington Old Town is traditional Yorkshire in a nutshell. Packed with attractive antique shops and restaurants, the Old Town was the setting for the Dad’s Army film. The delightful mix of brick and stone buildings, colourful shop fronts, popular cafés and individual shops provide a relaxing environment for shopping or strolling. Entertainment and art galleries are housed in the refurbished Spa Centre on the seafront. A network of land-trains transports guests around the town, along the front, and as far afield as Sewerby Hall and Gardens, a delightful stately home owned and managed by East Riding Council.

Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Scarborough & Filey
Scarborough really does have it all – dramatic cliffs, prominent castle headland, historic harbour and wonderful beaches. Perhaps take a ride on the oldest funicular railway in Britain, enjoy a stroll through the gardens or enjoy some seaside fun on the award-winning beaches. We continue our day with a visit to Filey. Home to an historic promenade, impressive Edwardian architecture and a five-mile expanse of stunning beach this is a great place to explore. /n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Whitby & North York Moors Railway / Evening to The Drifters at Bridlington Spa
All aboard the North York Moors Railway for a journey through the wonderful scenery of the North York Moors. The nostalgic carriages will transport you to a bygone era as the beautiful scenery sails by. Keep an eye out for pretty Goathland Station – the ‘celebrity’ of the railway having featured in the first Harry Potter film, Aidensfield in Heartbeat and Downton Abbey! Our journey brings us to wonderful Whitby – a seaside, harbour town with plenty to offer in its old cobbled streets which are overlooked by the dramatic ruins of the mysterious abbey./nAfter dinner, make your way to nearby Bridlington Spa and take your seats for an evening of entertainment! This legendary group have a brand new line up performing all their classic hits such as Saturday Night at the Movies, Kissing in The Back Row, Come On Over To My Place plus many, many more!/n
Day 5 - Return Travel

In a prime seafront location on Bridlington’s South beach, the Monarch
Hotel offers breathtaking panoramic sea views. Situated close to the
resort’s Spa Theatre and just a short stroll to the busy fishing harbour,
the Monarch Hotel is sure to provide the perfect base for exploring
Bridlington and surrounding areas. The hotel features a quiet lounge,
restaurant and bar area on the first floor, as well as a good size
dancefloor where entertainment is regularly featured. Our en-suite
