It has a mild climate, sparkling blue waters and in its beautiful public gardens you will see subtropical plants and palm trees. Torquay has something to offer everyone: by day you can relax on one of the clean sandy beaches, explore the bustling harbour and marina and the excellent shops or if you are feeling more active there are lovely walks, or activities such as sailing, bowls, golf or fishing. By night you'll be spoilt for choice: there are theatres, night clubs, cabarets and discothèques and of course you'll see the lights illuminating the promenade reflected across the beautiful bay. The many local attractions include Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Kent's Cavern, Torbay Steam Railway and Cockington thatched village.

Day 2 - Plymouth With Scenic Cruise & Cream Tea
We make our way to Plymouth today – a maritime city with a wealth of history to be found in the harbour area, or modern High Street shops to be explored in the centre. Whilst here, we enjoy a wonderful cruise along the coast, setting sail across Plymouth Sound, passing Plymouth Hoe and the famous Drakes Island. With entertaining commentary and an included cream tea on board this is a great way to learn about this fascinating city. /n

Day 3 - Day at Leisure

Day 4 - Teignmouth & Exeter
Visit the coastal town of Teignmouth, before we make our way to the cathedral city of Exeter. A small city, Exeter is one of the most interesting cities in England – pre-dating the arrival of the Romans you might want to discover some of the cities most historic attractions such as the unique Underground Passages, the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum or the magnificent Exeter Cathedral. The cobbled streets of the old town are filled with independent shops, boutiques and charming cafes./n

The great Regina Hotel has 67 bedrooms with central heating and private bath or shower and WC. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and TV with radio channels. There is an air-conditioned restaurant and entertainment most evenings. Lift serves most rooms (except Barrett Browning’s former house). Limited car parking with public car park across the road.
