Tenby is a uniquely attractive resort. Its pastel coloured buildings, narrow streets, fortified walls and the quality of the light from its shimmering bays give it an atmosphere which is reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Its medieval castle was bombarded into submission by Cromwell using artillery on both land and sea and the feeling of a town whose history is much richer than most seaside resorts is very strong as one ambles around the narrow streets or stops for a drink in one of the many bars or caf�s. Tenby has a delightful harbour and four magnificent beaches. Nearby is Caldey Island monastery, a "must" to explore during your stay.

Full Day Excursion to Pembroke and St.David's
Our tour visits Pembroke, birthplace of Henry VII and site of a prolonged siege by Oliver Cromwell from which the town retains a magnificent castle. St Davids is situated on the far South West coast of Wales; although technically a city due to its magnificent cathedral, St Davids is actually an attractive village, set amongst beautiful coastal scenery.
Full Day Excursion to Gwili Railway and Carmarthen
Known as �the friendly line�, the Gwili steam and diesel railway operates on part of the former Carmarthen to Aberystwyth line (rail fare included). The journey takes in some delightful natural scenery and industrial heritage. There is a miniature railway display and a former travelling post office to explore. We also have some free time in historic Carmarthen, birthplace of Merlin.
Half Day Excursion to Narberth,
A delightful small town with an intriguing museum, an atmospheric castle ruin, a wide range of quirky independent shops, and a distinctive former town hall and gaol, which resembles a boathouse. There is a Friday market in the Queen�s Hall.
Excellently situated overlooking South Beach and Caldey Island and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The hotel has a cellar bar with dance floor and lively entertainment most evenings which includes dancing, bingo and sing-along. The TV lounge and restaurant have sea views and there is also a games room. All bedrooms have private bath or shower and WC, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. (Single rooms have shower cubicle and WC). Lift serves most rooms.
