Truro is the main administrative and commercial town of the area, with a wide variety of shops and amenities. /nOpen most days (free entry, donations welcome), the neo-Gothic cathedral with its unusual three spires dominates the town./nCornwall's natural history, unique geology and celtic culture are explored at the Royal Cornwall Museum (entry fee applies)./nOffering panoramic views of Falmouth and the Carrick Roads, St Mawes is a tranquil village on the secluded Roseland peninsula./nBoat trips are available from the harbour (fees apply) and there are many cafés and restaurants overlooking the sea./nThe local bakery is a family business over 100 years old, ofering a variety of delicious pasties and sweet pastries./n
Day 3 - Full Day - Isles of Scilly
We’ll journey to Penzance for the 2 hour 45 minute ferry to the St Marys the largest of the Scilly Isles./nAs you cruise down the stunning Cornish coast why not see if you can spot any dolpins taking advantage of the crystal blue waters that surround the Islands. /nLanding at Hugh Town you will have time to explore the local shops, beaches and countryside paths. For those feeling especially spritely a walk around the island could in order./nTake time to marvel at the wonderful sights on land and sea that the unique environment on the Islands has to offer./n

Henry VII's Pendennis Castle overlooks Falmouth's gardens with their profusion of sub-tropical plants. /nA range of boats from yachts to large ocean going ships call at Falmouth's expansive harbour./nThe National Maritime Museum (entry fee applies) is a world class attraction offering unique interactive displays. /n
