Full Day Excursion to Chester
We have plenty of time to explore this lovely city, created by the Romans some 2000 years ago. The centre is compact and easy to get around on foot by means of a waymarked Millenium Festival Trail. Sights include the Eastgate Clock, Chester Visitor Centre, Roman Amphitheatre and the most complete city walls in Britain. There is even a Town Crier that welcomes visitors at 12 noon at the city centre Cross.
Full Day Excursion to Blackpool
Britain's 'Capital of Fun' is a superb destination for a day of unashamed seaside nostalgia. In addition to the world renowned Golden Mile, with its funfairs and tower, it offers excellent shopping and some lovely parks.

Southport's most famous hotel is situated in the heart of the town, on fabulous Lord Street. There is a smart lounge bar serving tea and coffee and tempting cakes throughout the day and a restaurant serving buffet-style meals.
