Royal Kent 5 Days - Mercure Royal Hotel
The genteel former spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is renowned for its shopping which offers a truly unique experience. The lower end of town includes the historic Pantiles district which is full of gorgeous independent and specialist shops. In the summer it is still possible to sample the cool Chalybeate Spring water served by a costumed dipper, after all it is these spring waters that give the town its name.

Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Today is left free to allow for relaxing in the hotel or exploring the local area. /nDon't hesitate to enquire with the hotel reception regarding local attractions and travel options.
Day 4 - Full Day - Kent Life Museum and Medway Boat Trip
An exploration of life through the ages in Kent./nWander through the Victorian village, cottage gardens and WW2 shelter./nOther points of interest are the oast house and working smithy./nWe glide along the Medway aboard the Kentish Lady./nAlong the route, we pass Allington Castle, much visited by Henry VIII./nOur journey ends in the heart of bustling Maidstone./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Situated on the outskirts of Royal Tunbridge Wells, in a quiet corner of Kent. The hotel is styled around a traditional Georgian oast house and surrounded by summer seating area and pond. There is a feel good Health Club with heated pool, steam room and sauna (charges may apply). All bedrooms are en-suite and feature flat-screen TV and hairdryer.
