Oxford Stratford & Cotswolds 5 Days - Gainsborough
The largest town in North Worcestershire, the base for our tour is famous as a centre for the production of quality woven carpets, which are still manufactured in the town, and as the birthplace of Sir Rowland Hill, the founder of the Penny Post. It offers three shopping centres, a retail park, numerous independent and multi - national traders providing a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés and a twice weekly outdoor retail market.

Day 2 - Full Day - Stratford-upon-Avon
Stratford upon Avon is known the world over as the birthplace of the world's greatest bard, William Shakespeare./nIt has many fascinating Shakespearean sites including the World of Shakespeare exhibition and Anne Hathaway's cottage (entry fees may apply)./nThe MAD (Mechanical Art and Design) Museum is a quirky attraction displaying interactive pieces of mechanical art (entry fees apply. Day 3 - Full Day - Oxford Guided Tour
Our guide (included in tour cost) shows us Oxford's pedestianised centre, pointing out places of interest and their history. /nFollowing the tour we have some free time to visit points of interst such as the Ashmolean Museum, Bridge of Sighs, or Bodleian Library. /nOxford's youthful population has given rise to a preponderance of independent boutique shops. The 7-day covered market is also worth a visit./n
Day 4 - Full Day - The Cotswolds from Worcestershire
The Cotswolds, with gently sloping green hills and honey-colour limestone villages, is considered to be the largest area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the country./nThe Cotswolds covers almost 800 square miles and runs through five counties (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire)./nWe visit the villages of Moreton-in-the-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water./n
Day 5 - Return Travel

Situated in the beautiful county of Worcestershire, within walking distance of Kidderminster town centre, the Gainsborough House Hotel has been tastefully modernised and offers a contemporary interior whilst still maintaining its friendly service. There is a lounge bar and the restaurant offers freshly prepared food using local produce.
