Oxford & Cambridge 5 Days - Holiday Inn Luton
The town of Luton is situated on the River Lea surrounded by the Great Bramingham Wood, classified as an ancient woodland. The source of the River Lea, part of the Thames Valley drainage basin, is in the Leagrave area of the town. Luton was for many years famous for hatmaking, and also had a large Vauxhall Motors factory. The town centre is bursting with a wealth of restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs, along with a packed line-up of entertainment and events.

Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Full Day - Oxford Guided Tour
Our guide (included in tour cost) shows us Oxford's pedestianised centre, pointing out places of interest and their history. /nFollowing the tour we have some free time to visit points of interst such as the Ashmolean Museum, Bridge of Sighs, or Bodleian Library. /nOxford's youthful population has given rise to a preponderance of independent boutique shops. The 7-day covered market is also worth a visit./n
Day 3 - Full Day - Cambridge
Cambridge sits on the River Cam and is famous for it's University, which was founded in 1209./nToday we take a guided tour of the city (included in the cost)./nSince its opening in 1846, Cambridge University Botanic Garden has been an inspiration for gardeners and refreshing oasis for visitors (entry fees apply)./n
Day 4 - St Albans Half Day
The city’s colourful history can be seen in the Roman remains and the beautiful medieval architecture./nSt. Alban’s has many delightful buildings and is often used for filming (including Inspector Morse and Foyle’s War)./nThe Cathedral dominates the city's skyline from every approach. It is best known for the shrine of St Alban, Britain’s first Christian Saint./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
