Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Full Day - Lochgilphead & Inveraray
Lochgilphead is situated at the apex of a short loch called Loch Gilp, an offshoot on the western shore of the much larger Loch Fyne./nFounded in 1745 by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, the town is a classic example of an 18th century town and Scottish Georgian architecture./nThe neo-Gothic Inverary Castle has a history dating back to the 1400s (Entrance fees apply)./nKey buildings worth visiting include the neoclassical church and Inveraray Jail and courthouse, now an award-winning museum (Entrance fees apply)./n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Today is left free to allow for relaxing in the hotel or exploring the local area. /nDon't hesitate to enquire with the hotel reception regarding local attractions and travel options.
Day 4 - Full Day - Isle of Mull (Oban Tours)
The main town, Tobermory, is famed for cheerfully painted waterfront buildings and the yachts bobbing in the natural harbour./nMull is one of the best places to spot rare white-tailed sea eagles, whales, dolphins and basking sharks./nThe small Mull Museum (entry fees apply) is crammed with information about Mull's past. /n
