Day 1 - Outward Travel


Day 2 - Full Day Belvoir Castle & Nottingham
Immerse yourself in the splendour of Belvoir Castle. The ancestral home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, this splendid castle is adorned with priceless works of art and opulent interiors. Designed by Capability Brown, the castle in a stunning hilltop location providing magnificent views of the surrounding area. After admiring the inside, take a stroll in the wonderful gardens with its Rose Garden, Spiral Walk and Duchess Garden. The formal gardens blend seamlessly into the wider parklands where wildlife and livestock still roam. We’ll round the day off by calling at Nottingham with free time to explore the city./n

Day 3 - Half Day Melton Mowbray
Discover the charming market town of Melton Mowbray. With Royal connections stretching back to the 1100s, pork pies and stilton are the order of the day and there are many, many delicatessens selling these most traditional quintessential English dishes!/n

Day 4 - Full Day Lincoln
Filled with heritage and culture, the beautiful city of Lincoln is a delight to explore. The magnificent cathedral, castle remains and ancient walls are interspersed with medieval architecture and a stroll along the cobbled streets is a great way to discover many of the city’s attractions. The cathedral remains one of the most spectacular Gothic buildings in the country and was once the tallest building in the world. Whether you choose to explore the historic attractions, the diverse range of shops or explore the bustling Brayford Waterfront there is something here for everyone./n
