Day 1 - Outward Travel


Day 2 - Canterbury
Canterbury and the surrounding area has a whole host of history and heritage including a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a castle and four museums (entry fees may apply)./nThe ruined Canterbury Norman Castle is amongst the most ancient in Britain, begun by William the Conqueror around 1070 (free entry)./nCanterbury Cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury. As well as a place of worship, the Cathedral is part of a World Heritage Site (entry fees apply)./n

Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Today is left free to allow for relaxing in the hotel or exploring the local area. /nDon't hesitate to enquire with the hotel reception regarding local attractions and travel options.

Day 4 - Sandwich and the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial
. At Manston, we visit the Spitfire and Hurricane memorial./nRestored examples of these impressive aircraft form the highlights of the artefacts on display./nSandwich was one of Henry VIII’s Cinque Ports, with Deal as the "sixth of the 5 ports", of an almost equal status./nSandwich offers a pleasant marina along the river Stour and many historical buildings such as the Guildhall and its museum (free entry)./n
