Weston-super-Mare is Somerset's best known holiday resort. It is situated in a sheltered bay at the foot of the Mendip Hills with views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. There are many charming Victorian and Edwardian terraces interspersed with colourful parks and gardens providing fascinating walks; from the delightful rocky point at Anchor Head to the sandy beaches at the southern end of the resort. Weston offers a great many attractions including the Grand Pier – described as “the ultimate 21st Century indoor theme park”! It also boasts the Sea Life centre, a helicopter museum and a big wheel which offers breathtaking views. The sheltered bay is ideal for a quiet walk and there is a choice of several boat trips. Other superb activities include ten pin bowling, golf and bowls. At night there are numerous attractions including top class cabaret at the Playhouse and dancing at the famous Winter Gardens.

Enjoy a day out like no other! Nestled in the Wiltshire countryside, this sprawling estate is probably most famous for its legendary Safari Park. Sit back and relax as our coach takes you through the Safari expedition, then continue your adventure on foot, explore the Animal Adventure, Bat Cave or hop on board the Boat Safari./nAs the night begins to fall the magic begins! Take a stroll around the incredible lantern scenes and festive activities as the Festival of Light presents ‘British Icons with Wallace & Gromit and Friends’. Encounter fan-favourite characters from Shaun the Sheep, Wallace & Gromit, and many more! Plus, journey to some of the UKs most famous landmarks, and discover the native wildlife all in breath-taking lantern form. Explore the sights of London as you walk under a 15m tall Tower Bridge, travel through the iconic Stonehenge and to Shaun the Sheep’s farm, marvel at the incredible Welsh dragon before heading to Blackpool and the great British seaside. Then journey to Scotland and Giant’s Causeway as well as West Wallaby Street to meet Wallace & Gromit on their adventures along with other beloved characters! Plus, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth The Festival of Light will bring to life some incredible writers, as well as light up British native wildlife and landscapes, and showcasing iconic British singers through the decades! Head to the Courtyard Square where and get into a festive swing as you marvel at the 20 metre tall singing tree. Anchor Head Hotel
Situated by Birnbeck Pier, close to the boating slipway and beach, with spectacular sea views across the channel from our lounge, restaurant and from many of the hotel’s bedrooms. The hotel features a newly refurbished restaurant, quiet lounge, bar with dancefloor and entertainment on most evenings. The hotel also boasts an outdoor terrace, perfect for catching the sun and enjoying spectacular sea views across the resort. Our en-suite bedrooms come with comfy beds for a great nights sleep, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV with Freeview and radio and hairdryer.
