Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Full Day Manchester
A fascinating city – steeped in history, culture and sport – there is so much to see and do in vibrant Manchester. The birthplace of the industrial revolution, there are many buildings that evoke the eras of the past which are interspersed with modern skyscrapers. World-class shopping can be found in the Arndale Centre and surrounding streets./n
Day 3 - Full Day Liverpool including Guided City Tour
We enjoy a guided city tour of Liverpool taking in the main historic and modern sights. Learn more about this most musical city before enjoying time at leisure to explore yourself - perhaps hit the shops in the modern Liverpool One or explore the popular Albert Dock - the choice is yours!/n
Day 4 - Full Day Chester including River Dee Cruise
Discover the medieval city of Chester - a city rich in history and heritage which is evident at every turn! The Roman Amphitheatre, the walls and cathedral are well worth exploring - as are the independent and high street shops along the iconic 'Rows'. /nWe will also enjoy a relaxing cruise on the River Dee which will take us past spectacular riverside homes and gardens and out of the city limits into the leafy countryside. Meandering through the Eaton Estate, the ancestral home of the Duke of Westminster, this is a tranquil stretch of the river with ample opportunities to spot wildlife on the banks as well as admiring some of the historic bridges that span the waters./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Ropewalks Hotel
Centrally located within easy reach of the city's main attractions, with Liverpool One and the Albert Dock within walking distance, the Ropewalks Hotel is the perfect hotel for a break to the vibrant city of Liverpool. The well-appointed bedrooms have luxurious beds and all the modern amenities you would expect to find and the restaurant serves simple and delicious favourites made from fresh and seasonal produce.
