Exmouth developed as a resort in Georgian times and was once probably the most select seaside resort in Britain, home to such famous people as Lady Nelson and Lady Byron. Nowadays it offers a rich mixture of immaculate sands, lovely gardens, a busy marina and a wide range of sports facilities that combine to make it an excellent resort for all ages and interests. To the South the resort overlooks Lyme Bay, while to the West it looks across the estuary of the River Exe to the Haldon Hills and Dawlish Warren. There are boat trips aplenty but also lots to do on dry land with good shops, a museum, many old pubs and good walks at every turn. For the more active there is a swimming pool, golf, and all forms of water sports including a sailing school.

Sitting on the impressive Jurassic Coast, Sidmouth is a seaside town like no other. Surrounded by spectacular countryside and home to award-winning beaches be charmed by the Regency feel of this beautiful town with its stylish cafes and great shopping opportunities./nWe also visit the cathedral city of Exeter - a city rich in history. The city's skyline is dominated by the unique Norman towers of the magnificent cathedral and there is so much to discover along the bustling quayside./n
Day 3 - Half Day Torquay
Enjoy a trip to the bustling seaside resort of Torquay. Lying at the heart of the beautiful English Riviera, Torquay has been a popular destination since Victorian times and enjoys a mild climate, sparkling blue waters and exotic greenery./n
Day 4 - Day at Leisure
Day 5 - Day at leisure & Evening Performance Let's Rock the 70's
Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in resort, before an evening of unforgettable entertainment. Take your seats for “Let’s Rock the 70s”, a spectacular show that takes you back to when music ruled the airwaves and every song told a story. Relive the anthems that had us dancing. This is no tribute act – these are Hazel O’Connor’s own outstanding musicians, bringing the legendary sounds of the 70s to life with passion, power and authenticity. Please meet in reception at 6:45pm for your transport to the theatre. The show begins at 7:30pm and finishes at approximately 10:00pm. Return transport to your hotel is included./n
Day 6 - Dartmoor & Plymouth
Excursion travelling over the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Admire the wild moors and take in the scenery as we make our way to the maritime city of Plymouth where there will be free time to explore - perhaps enjoy a stroll around the Barbican - the city's historic harbour area, or head to the shops for some retail therapy!/n

Cavendish Hotel
Overlooking Exmouth's fine golden sands and expanisve bay, the hotel is located on the seafront just a few minutes stroll from the shopping area. You will find spectacular views across the bay from many of the hotel's bedrooms. The hotel features a modern restaurant, bar lounge and entertainment room with dancefloor, where you will find entertainment on most evenings. Our en-suite bedrooms come with comfy beds for a great nights sleep, tea and coffee making facilities, flatscreen TV with Freeview and radio and hairdryer. The hotel has free Wi-Fi throughout and a lift serving most floors.
