Keswick is a market town in northwest England’s Lake District National Park, surrounded by mountains like Skiddaw. In town, The Derwent Pencil Museum documents the history of pencils, and the Keswick Museum & Art Gallery displays local artefacts. On a hilltop east of town, Castlerigg Stone Circle dates back to the Neolithic era.

Day 1 - Outward Travel - Festive Specials

Day 2 - Excursion to Carlisle
We visit Carlisle, a city steeped in history, culture, and northern charm. Nestled between the Lake District and Hadrian’s Wall, it boasts over 2,000 years of heritage. Once a battleground for Vikings and Border Reivers, today it’s alive with historic landmarks, vibrant shops, welcoming cafés./n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Bowness-on-Windermere & Ambleside
We travel to the popular village of Bowness-on-Windermere, a lively town nestled on the lakeshore with boats gliding across the water and stunning views all around. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the independent shops, or relax in one of the delightful tea rooms with a coffee and watch the world go by. Later, we visit Ambleside, a picturesque town at the northern tip of Windermere, renowned for its quaint streets, historic buildings, and beautiful surroundings./n
