Killarney & Ring Of Kerry 7 Days - Killarney Hghts
The bustling town of Tralee is the capital of Kerry and well known for the Rose of Tralee International Festival. Steeped in history, the place is bursting with colourful shopfronts and offers a real glimpse of a traditional Irish lifestyle. Perhaps visit the Kerry County Museum and spend time in the medieval experience hall to gain an interesting insight into the lives of Tralee residents in the 15th Century. Stroll through the Town Park to see it’s exquisite Rose Garden, home to one of the largest collections of roses in Ireland, or learn about the workings of the traditional Blennerville Windmill, still functioning today. Pop in for a drink in one of the many typically lively pubs, and enjoy the fun with locals and visitors, who together make the atmosphere really special - you might be lucky enough to experience true Irish culture and find one with live music where the sound of Irish pipes and drums fills the air.
