Often referred to as ‘Scotland in miniature’ The beautiful isle of Arran lies in the Firth of Clyde between the mainland and the Mull of Kintyre and rises spectacularly to almost 900 metres. The island is divided into highland and lowland, a geologist’s paradise. A memorable day as we catch the ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick for a circular trip around the island visiting Lochranza, then along the West coast with views of the Mull of Kintyre as we travel to Blackwaterfoot before returning via the mountainous spine of the island to Brodick in time for the ferry back to the mainland.

A memorable day as we catch the ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick for a circular trip around the island visiting Lochranza. Enjoy a trip to the beautiful Isle of Bute and have free time in capital Rothesay. Home to a fascinating castle and beautiful tree-lined promenade enjoy a stroll and take in the beautiful views across the waters./n
