Day 3 - Full Day - Leeds Castle
Described by Lord Conway as ‘The Loveliest Castle in the World’, Leeds Castle (entry included in tour cost) is listed in the Domesday Book./nOriginally a Saxon fortress built in AD 857, it was rebuilt in stone by the Normans and later converted to a Royal Palace by Henry VIII. /nIn addition to the Castle, visitors can enjoy the grounds including the maze and grotto, Dog Collar Museum, aviary and two gift shops./n
Day 4 - Full Day - Penshurst Place
The grand manor house of Penshurst Place was once owned by Henry VIII and featured in the TV series ‘Wolf Hall’ (entrance included)./nWith 48 acres of Grounds, including the 11 acre formal Grade I listed Gardens, Penshurst Place and Gardens remains one of Britain’s most alluring spectacles./nThe ancient historic parkland of Penshurst Place provides scenic walks with two walking trails across the estate./n
