Day 1 - Outward Travel

One historic town, with 2000 years of history, Bishop Auckland is a delightful place to discover - this bustling market town stands high above the meandering River Wear and commands beautiful views of the surrounding countryside./n
Day 4 - Full day to Beamish Open Air Museum
This world-famous open air museum brings the history of the North East to life as it was in the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s! Explore the 1900s Town, the Pit Village, the 1950s Farm and beautiful 1820s Pockerley with its new and old houses, magnificent gardens and glorious Georgian landscape. There really is something here for everyone!/n
Day 5 - Return Travel
