Kilkenny is a flourishing city with a fascinating medieval history and a thriving crafts industry. The 800-year-old Norman castle overlooks the ancient streets of Kilkenny which today has been transformed into a cosmopolitan destination. Our tour also visits the ‘Garden of Ireland’ as County Wicklow is known, as well as enjoying a guided tour of Ireland’s cosmopolitan capital, Dublin.

Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Full Day - Cahir Castle & Rock of Cashel
Cahir Castle (entry included in tour cost) is an imposing 13th-15th Century structure./nSkilfully designed by Conor O’Brien, Cahir is a state-of-the-medieval-art defensive castle./nAppearing to grow from the actual rock on which it stands, the castle has been the scene of sieges and bombardments for centuries./nIreland’s most visited heritage site is ‘St Patrick’s Rock’ of Cashel (entry included in tour cost)./nThis spectacular collection of medieval buildings is located just 500 metres from the centre of Cashel Town, County Tipperary./nHighlights include a 12th-century tower, high cross, Romanesque chapel, 13th-century cathedral, 15th-century castle and the Hall of the Vicars/n
Day 5 - Waterford Half Day
The Viking city of Waterford has an exciting medieval flavour and riverside bustle. /nWaterford Museum of Treasures tells the 1000-year-story of Waterford (entry fees may apply)./nThe House of Waterford Crystal (entry fees apply) houses the World's largest selection of traditional crystal. /n
Day 6 - Return Travel
Springhill Court Hotel
The Springhill Court Hotel is within walking distance of Kilkenny City, with superb shopping and fantastic food. The Kilkenny Leisure Club consists of a 19 metre deck level swimming pool, heated seat area, sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi.
