Great Yarmouth is East Anglia's top seaside venue, whose long sandy beach stretches for miles, backed by the Marine Parade and promenade, ideal for a gentle stroll or a ride on a horse-drawn landau. Visitors enjoy a huge range of attractions including the Model Village, a magnificent Sea Life Centre and the Hippodrome Circus, one of the longest running permanent circuses in England. Historically Great Yarmouth’s South Quay was a bustling port, described by Daniel Defoe as the finest quay in Europe with its many Georgian buildings. Those with an interest in history might also enjoy the Nelson Museum and the preserved Row Houses, unique to Great Yarmouth. There’s something for everyone in England’s far East!

The North Norfolk Railway know as the “Poppy Line” is a heritage steam or diesel service that runs just over 5 miles./nFrom the Victorian resort of Sheringham, the Poppy Line runs along the coast stopping at Weybourne and across the heathland to the Georgian town of Holt. (Return rail Included in tour cost)/nVisiting the three beautifully restored century old stations along the way./nThe sandy beach at Sheringham holds the European Blue Flag award for cleanliness and has done so for many years./nStep inside stunning galleries and walk amongst the extraordinary fleet of lifeboats and fishing boats at Sheringham Museum (entry fees apply)./n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Day 4 - Bressingham Steam & Gardens
One of East Anglia’s top attractions with truly something for everyone (trains, gardens and some fairground attractions included in tour cost)./nThe railways include diesel and steam services (subject to running). Fairground rides include traditional gallopers./nGardeners will also find plenty to entertain and inspire in the well-planted and lovingly-tended grounds. /n
Day 5 - Return Travel
New Beach Hotel
Situated in Great Yarmouth's most central and lively location, on the sea front opposite Britannia Pier and adjacent to the shops and resort amenities. (Note that it can be quite lively in the street outside the sea facing rooms.) Having recently undergone a major refurbishment, all 95 bedrooms are centrally heated with private bath or shower and WC, tea/coffee making facilities, internal telephone, hair dryer and Freeview TV.
All public areas are on the ground floor including both the quiet and bar lounges, which are overlooking the sea front and the restaurant and entertainment room where entertainment is provided most evenings (accessed via 2 steps).
