On a hilltop east of town, Castlerigg Stone Circle dates back to the Neolithic era.

Explore the fascinating Kendal Museum or take a leisurely stroll along the River Kent before browsing the town’s independent shops and galleries. Day 3 - Full Day Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, Cruise & Bowness
Join the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway for a journey through the picturesque scenery of the Leven Valley to Lakeside. From here we join Windermere Cruises and sail to Bowness-on-Windermere. Enjoy free time to explore the village, browse the popular shops or simply take in the magnificent views from the shore. /n
Day 4 - Day at Leisure
Day 5 - Day at leisure - Keswick Market
Day at Leisure – Enjoy some free time at your own pace, or explore Keswick’s famous market. Located in the town’s bustling Market Square and overlooked by the historic Moot Hall, the market features a wide variety of stalls offering local produce, handmade crafts, clothing, gifts, and delicious food. With its lively atmosphere and beautiful setting in the heart of the Lake District, Keswick Market is a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike./n
Day 6 - Grasmere & Ambleside
Nestling at the foot of magnificent fells, pretty Grasmere is situated at the heart of the Lake District National Park. Follow your nose to the tiny Grasmere Gingerbread Shop in the grounds of the parish church or visit one of the many quaint cafes and tearooms. Later in the day with call at bustling Ambleside, situated on the northern shores of glorious Windermere./n
Day 7 - Return Travel
