Situated on a sandy isthmus between the Great Orme and Little Orme Heads, Llandudno boasts two superb beaches. The shingly North Shore is the busier of the two with its Victorian Pier, boat trips, donkey rides, Punch and Judy shows and much more. The sandy West Shore is quieter with miles of sands and panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range in the distance. Llandudno is a highly attractive resort with its magnificent crescent of hotels, broad tree-lined streets and elegant shops all combining to produce a unique atmosphere. There are two golf courses. A tramway and cable car both offer a route to the summit of the Great Orme (which also boasts a superb dry ski slope - one of the best in Britain). There is plenty to do both by day and by night and you are sure never to have a dull moment at what many would claim to be the most complete of all British holiday resorts.

Day 2 - Full Day - Beaumaris & Plas Newydd House & Gardens
Over the Menai Straits from the mainland lies the Isle of Anglesey and its beautifully sited coastal resort Beaumaris./nAttractions include a 13th century castle, Victorian gaol and the Museum of Childhood (entry fees may apply). /nTake your cameras to capture the superb views of the Snowdonia mountains on the journey back to the mainland./nSet on the shores of the Menai Strait amidst breathtakingly beautiful scenery, this elegant house was redesigned by James Wyatt in the 18th century./nThe 1930s restyled interior is famous for its Rex Whistler association. Day 3 - Full Day - Gwydir Castle & Bodnant Gardens
Gwydir Castle is situated in the Conwy valley. Built by the Wynn family c1500, Gwydir is a fine example of a Tudor courtyard house (entrance included)./nFurther additions date from c1600 and c1826 and the 1640s panelled Dining Room has been reinstated, following its repatriation from the New York Metropolitan Museum./nThe historic gardens at Gwydir Castle are amongst the very few in Wales given Grade 1 listed status./nBodnant Gardens are widely acknowledged as one of the world’s most spectacular gardens (entrance included)./nThe Garden has two parts, the upper garden around Bodnant Hall (the terraced gardens and informal lawns) and the lower portion (containing the Wild garden)./nAn endeavour has been made to grow a wide range of beautiful plants from all over the world, particularly China, North America, Europe and Japan./n
Day 4 - Penrhyn Castle Half Day (Afternoon)
This vasts 19th-century neo-Norman castle sits between Snowdonia and the Menai Strait (Entrance included)./nThe 60 acres of grounds include parkland, an exotic tree and shrub collection and a Victorian walled garden./nVisitors can discover some of the wonderful and elaborately decorated rooms, Gothic stairways and the fine art on display./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Hydro Hotel
Ideally placed on the sea front close to the Aberconwy Centre and a short walk from Llandudno’s wonderful shops, Pier and Happy Valley gardens, the Hydro Hotel is a favourite destination for coach holidays to Llandudno. Large entertainment suite with dance floor and entertainment most evenings. Superb "Looking Glass” bar with views over the bay, sun lounge and games room with snooker. 126 bedrooms with central heating and private bath or shower and WC. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and TV with radio channels. Many rooms have views over the bay or over the town to the Snowdonian mountains.
