It has a spacious promenade to stroll along and the world-famous Carpet Gardens line the seafront. Eastbourne has clean inviting beaches predominantly of shingle leading to sand at low tide and offering excellent bathing. There's plenty to see and do with first class shops, cinemas, museums, shows, concerts and dancing in the Winter Gardens. Day 2 - Kent & East Sussex Railway & Tenterden
Enjoy unique views of the beautiful Wealden countryside from the tracks of the Kent & East Sussex Railway. Travel through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and keep an eye out for the wonderful wildlife that is often spotted along the route. We’ll also have some time in Tenterden, known as the ‘Jewel of the Weald’. Georgian buildings line the streets with tall Victorian houses and tiny cottages dotted throughout – there is a real timeless atmosphere here./n

Day 3 - Day at Leisure

Day 4 - Full Day Hever Castle & Gardens
Be inspired by romantic Hever Castle and gardens. The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the castle formed an unlikely backdrop to a sequence of tumultuous events that changed the course of English history forever. Much of what can be seen today is the result of the remarkable efforts of William Waldorf Astor who used his fortune to restore the castle. The panelled rooms house fine furniture, intricate tapestries and precious antiques – and even prayer books that bear the inscriptions and signature of Anne Boleyn herself. Take some time to explore the beautiful gardens which feature a topiary chess set, a rhododendron walk and a quintessential English Rose Garden with over 5000 rose bushes./n
