Dunoon is splendidly situated on the western shores of the Firth of Clyde, where Loch Long and Holy Loch join the sea. It boasts some lovely gardens, two bays, and a flat promenade - perfect for that most traditional of seaside occupations, strolling along the prom! Dunoon has a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool solarium and sauna, bowling greens, squash and tennis courts and both 9 and 18 hole golf courses. There are two cinemas and, in the season, entertainment at the Queens Hall. Within just a few miles is some of Scotland's most spectacular mountain scenery in the Argyll Forest Park. The journeys along Loch Eck and to Colintraive are amongst the most memorable anywhere in Scotland.

The seaside resort of Helensburgh is a delight to explore, with its wide, tree-lined streets, charming promenade, and a great selection of shops and restaurants. This sophisticated Scottish town has something for everyone. From here, we travel to Balloch at the southern tip of Loch Lomond to enjoy a scenic cruise. Take in breathtaking views of the majestic Ben Lomond and glide past some of the loch’s most impressive castles and stately homes along its peaceful shores./n

Day 5 - Full Day Glasgow
Discover glorious Glasgow on a full day excursion to Scotland's second city. Renowned for its friendliness, this city bustles with activity - spectacular architecture, stylish shops and artful attractions are just waiting to be explored!/n
Day 6 - Full day to Oban
Known as the Gateway to the Isles, this bustling port on the Firth of Lorne commands fine views of the Argyll coast. Shops are along the sea front around the “little bay”, which gives Oban its name and fresh fish is always for sale on the busy pier and regular ferries leave from the harbour to the Hebridean Islands. McCaigs Tower dominates the skyline overlooking the harbour and other major landmarks include the pink granite cathederal and 600 year old ruined keep of Dunollie Castle. On our journey we pass Inveraray, seat of the Dukes of Argyll, Loch Awe and the remarkable Falls of Lora./n

In a superb position on the banks of the Clyde, the hotel

that reach down to the promenade and water’s edge.
All the public rooms and many of the bedrooms offer
uninterrupted views of the Clyde. Ground floor areas
include a newly refurbished restaurant and bar lounge

hotel has an outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy a
drink whilst enjoying the view. Our en-suite bedrooms
