County Wicklow is known as �The Garden of Ireland�, a land blessed with natural seaside sights, uncrowded towns and the serenely rolling vales so familiar on our television screens in �Ballykissangel�. Just to the North lies Dublin, a thriving international city with an absorbing cultural and historical character. The capital is also the spiritual home of Jameson, Guinness and, consequently, the renowned �craic� (good times)!

Day 1 South - Reading Interchange - North Wales
We travel to north Wales for our overnight stay
Day 2 Holyhead - Dublin - Powerscourt House & Gardens (en route) - Arklow
On arrival in Ireland we visit the majestic 18th century Powerscourt House, with its exquisite interiors, particularly the ballroom, and an immense 45 acres of formal and informal gardens (entrance included in the tour cost). We then continue to our hotel in Arklow.
Full Day Excursion to Dublin
We have a morning guided sightseeing tour of Dublin (included in the tour cost) followed by an afternoon free to explore the delights of this bustling Georgian capital, now a truly European city. Discover Trinity College, Dublin Castle, its two majestic cathedrals, many museums and follow in the literary footsteps of Joyce, Yeats and Shaw.
Full Day Excursion to the Irish National Stud and Avoca
The Irish National Stud is not just of interest to fans of horse racing. Its Japanese Gardens are world famous (entrance included in the tour cost). We also travel through the southern Wicklow Hills to Avoca Handweavers, the village made famous by BBC�s Ballykissangel.
Day 6 - Arklow - National Botanic Gardens, Dublin (en route)
This morning we visit Ireland�s National Botanic Gardens for a guided tour before catching the afternoon ferry to Wales.
Day 7 Dublin - Holyhead - Interchange - Home
