This little town with its picturesque views is the perfect place from which to explore.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Outward journey - Cairnryan
We’ll take the late afternoon crossing from Cairnryan to Larne and then we’ll overnight in the Adair Arms./n
Day 2 - Giants Causeway, Pierhead
We’ll travel to the stunning Giant’s Causeway where about 40,000 basalt blocks tumble down from the cliffs into the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. We’ll then continue on a beautiful scenic journey going to the Pierhead in the picturesque fishing village of Mullaghmore./n
Day 3 - Donegal, Boat Cruise incl. Seals island sanctuary, Donegal Craft Village
Journeying on along the rugged west coastline we’ll stop off at the fairytale town of Donegal with its charming harbour, serene beaches and century’s old stone remains including the 14th century furnished O’Donnell (Donegal) Castle and the old marketplace. /nDepending on tide times of the day, we’ll take a pleasure boat cruise around Donegal Bay to see the amazing views of the Bluestack Mountains, Seal island sanctuary, home to a colony of over 200 seals, and The Hassans, embarkation point of the Coffin Ships taking emigrants to America during the Famine years. There will be time to browse the shops of the pretty craft village just outside Donegal, where you can meet the artists in their workshops. Tonight there will be a special Irish Themed Menu, food you will fall in love with./n
Day 4 - Slieve League, Father McDyers Folk Park in Glencolmcille
Today we have the chance to follow in the footsteps of pilgrims and monks as we ascend the dramatic sea cliffs of Slieve League to enjoy the spiritual feeling and breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean ‐ surrounded by pure nature where the land is dotted with ancient stone ruins. Experience village life over the last three centuries at the fascinating living history museum of Father McDyers in Glencolmcille, a cluster of several thatched roof replica cottages perched on a hillside overlooking sandy Glen Bay Beach. Tonight there will be live entertainment in the Wheelhouse Bar for our enjoyment. /n
Day 5 - Glenveagh National Park and Castle
Today we’ll visit Glenveagh National Park and Castle, a hauntingly beautiful 19th century mansion set in beautiful gardens rising over Lough Veagh. Glenveagh translates to ‘glen of life’ and the castle was built by John George Adair as part of his dream to create a beautiful hunting estate. The grounds are a natural delight - magnificent lakes, glens, mountain ranges and woodlands are home to roaming herds of red deer and soaring golden eagles. The gardens are mainly informal displays of exotic plants protected by pine trees and ornamental rhododendrons./n
Day 6 - Belfast tour
Leaving the Pierhead, we’ll travel to the interesting town of Belfast to be taken on a guided tour of the highlights, to explore the rich history, world class museums and learn about how the Peace Process came about. We’ll then spend free time in Belfast, perhaps visit the legendary Harland and Wolff shipyard, now a remembrance museum and monument to the maritime heritage of the city showcasing the terrible icy end of the tragic Titanic Round off your Irish adventure and enjoy a drink in one of the many traditional pubs before retiring to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of Belfast./n
Day 7 - Return Journey - Belfast - Cairnryan
Stena morning return ferry back to Cairnryan and home./n
