Ilfracombe nestles around a harbour as old and as beautiful as any in Britain with the breathtaking scenery of North Devon as a backdrop. For the energetic there are splendid walks along the Coastal Path, the famous Torrs walks or swimming from the Tunnel beaches and coves. For those who like to take things a bit easier, one can simply stroll through the delightful gardens or while away an hour or two watching the ever-changing harbour scene. A boat trip is a "must" during your stay to see the spectacular cliffs of North Devon or visit the legendary Isle of Lundy. There is also plenty to do in the evenings with theatre, concerts, and cinema, as well as the entertainment provided at our hotel.

Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Barnstaple & Quince Honey Farm
Offering something for everyone – Barnstaple is the largest town in North Devon and is home to a variety of attractions including a traditional Pannier Market, the Butcher’s Row and heritage trails. We then make our way to Quince Honey Farm – a working honey farm that takes you on the journey from flower to jar!/n
Day 3 - Exmoor - Minehead & Lynmouth
Enjoy the spectacular moorlands and dramatic coastline of Exmoor National Park. We visit Minehead – a traditional seaside resort with an historic fishing quarter and harbour, 14th century church and wonderful seaside attractions. We continue to the picturesque village of Lynmouth where rows of charming fishing cottages and shops cluster around the pretty harbour. Why not enjoy spectacular views of the coast with a trip on the funicular railway?/n

Day 6 - Arlington Court & Woolacombe
Discover Arlington Court – a jewel situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park. A complete family estate with over 500 years of history admire the beautiful Victorian gardens, stunning deer park and the Carriage Museum with its range of historic vehicles from elegant coaches to humble carts. We also visit Woolacombe – who’s beach has been voted into the top 20 beaches in the world!/n
