The former Roman capital of Britain, incredible Colchester has a history that dates back over 2000 years. History is evident at every turn, from the Castle Museum and Dutch Quarter to the remarkable Layer Marney Tower, the tallest Tudor Gatehouse in the UK./n

Day 3 - Half Day Dedham
In the heart of Constable Country, it was Dedham that so inspired John Constable with its pretty setting and attractive High Street./n

Day 4 - Full Day Southwold & Aldeburgh
Enjoy an excursion visiting two little jewels on the Suffolk Coast - seaside Southwold and charming Aldeburgh./n

Orwell
Close to the town centre, this Victorian hotel was originally built for a Lord! The wood-panelled public areas are perfect for relaxing and the restaurant enjoys an elegant atmosphere and the rooms are tastefully furnished. Situated close to Felixstowe’s town centre it is ideal for exploring the nearby bathing huts, seafront gardens and red shingle beach and pier.
