Centenary Of The Great War 5 Days Hotel Ambassador
This tour takes in the fields of Northern France and Flanders, to see where our forefathers fought between 1914 and 1918 and to appreciate the extent of the sacrifice and suffering of what became known as 'The Great War'. We visit Ypres, the vital communications centre of Flanders, taking in the horrors of trench warfare at Passchendale and Essex Farm Cemetery. July 1st 1916 was the most costly day for the British Army on the Somme and in this area we also visit the museum, cemetery and memorial of Peronne, Thiepval and Arras respectively in the company of local experts.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
