Day 1 - Outward Travel


Day 2 - Berkeley Castle
Berkeley Castle is strategically situated in the lower Severn Valley. /nIt has been home to the same family for 900 years./nVisitors can explore the artefacts and treasures collected by the family over the ages. /n

Day 3 - Sudeley Castle & The Cotswolds
Set in the charming Cotswolds, Sudeley was once home to Katherine Parr./nThe castle also gave refuge to Charles I during the civil war./nThe Cotswolds, with gently sloping green hills and honey-colour limestone villages, is considered to be the largest area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the country./nThe Cotswolds covers almost 800 square miles and runs through five counties (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire)./n

Day 4 - Eastnor Castle in the Malverns, & Ledbury
Eastnor Castle is full of medieval armour and fine art. /nIn the beautiful grounds visitors will find an arboretum and a lake./nThere are many walks, trails and views to take in./nLedbury is one of the finest half-timbered market towns in England./nButcher Row House Museum is a tiny yet fascinating museum displaying Victorian life. (entry fee may apply)./nAt the centre of Ledbury is the Black and White Grade 1 listed Market Hall, built in 1653./n

Day 5 - Return Travel

Paddocks Hotel
Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with meadows leading down to the banks of the River Wye. The comfortably furnished lounge and bar areas overlook the river and gorge with splendid views. All bedrooms have private bath or shower and WC, TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Entertainment is provided on two evenings. No lift, but there are entrances to both the ground and middle floors. Please note this hotel is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
