Torquay is one of Britain's most famous resorts, situated at the heart of 22 miles of unspoilt coastline, often referred to as the "English Riviera". It has a mild climate, sparkling blue waters and in its beautiful public gardens you will see subtropical plants and palm trees. Torquay has something to offer everyone: by day you can relax on one of the clean sandy beaches, explore the bustling harbour and marina and the excellent shops or if you are feeling more active there are lovely walks, or activities such as sailing, bowls, golf or fishing. By night you'll be spoilt for choice: there are theatres, night clubs, cabarets and discothèques and of course you'll see the lights illuminating the promenade reflected across the beautiful bay. The many local attractions include Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Kent's Cavern, Torbay Steam Railway and Cockington thatched village.

Day 1 - Outward Travel - Festive Specials
Travel to your chosen Alfa Hotel and enjoy a fun-filled festive getaway! Your Festive Special Break includes: a welcoming glass of Mulled Wine on arrival, a traditional Christmas Day lunch with a special visit from Santa, plus evening entertainment featuring games and prizes./nTo round off your stay, an optional fancy dress party will take place on the final night./n
Day 2 - Excursion to Exeter Christmas Market & Evening Carols in the Cave
Enjoy the festive atmosphere of Exeter Christmas Market, set on the Cathedral Green and filled with twinkling chalets offering local gifts and produce, seasonal food and drink, decorations, and festive treats. The market is enhanced by seasonal activities and performances from the Cathedral Choir, creating a truly magical setting./nIn the evening, experience Carols in the Cave at Kents Cavern – a unique and atmospheric celebration of Christmas. Enjoy a 45-minute seated carol concert, followed by a candlelit guided walk through the caves, stopping in different chambers to hear choirs perform traditional Christmas songs. Mince pies and mulled wine are included, with a lounge singer providing entertainment in the café./nPlease note There is ramp access to the main building and the event begins with a seated section, followed by a guided walking tour through the caves. Paths are mostly flat with non-slip surfaces and handrails, but the caves can be wet and slippery in December. There are nine shallow steps and some steep gradients and narrow sections. Good headroom is provided throughout, please wrap up warm and sensible footwear is required. Due to the cave layout, wheelchairs cannot go beyond the first chamber./n
Day 3 - Alias Christmas Day
Day 4 - Excursion to Buckfast Abbey & Totnes
Visit pretty Totnes, a fascinating town situated on the beautiful River Dart. We also call at tranquil Buckfast Abbey, famous for it’s tonic wine and offering a refuge away from chaotic everyday life – why not enjoy a cake in the Grange?/n
Day 5 - Return Travel

In a fantastic location overlooking Torquay’s harbour and close to
the resorts shops and theatre. Previous home to the Victorian poet
Elizabeth Barrett Browning, who took inspiration for her poems from
her time in Torquay. You can enjoy the spectacular views of the harbour
from the hotel’s newly refurbished bar and lounge and from many of
the bedrooms. The hotel features a restaurant and bar with dancefloor
and entertainment most evenings. Our en-suite bedrooms come with
comfy beds for a great nights sleep, tea and coffee making facilities, flat
