The long beach front, historic buildings and range of entertainment facilities make Bridlington a fantastic destination on the Yorkshire Coast. Bridlington Old Town is traditional Yorkshire in a nutshell. Packed with attractive antique shops and restaurants, the Old Town was the setting for the Dad’s Army film. The delightful mix of brick and stone buildings, colourful shop fronts, popular cafés and individual shops provide a relaxing environment for shopping or strolling. Entertainment and art galleries are housed in the refurbished Spa Centre on the seafront. A network of land-trains transports guests around the town, along the front, and as far afield as Sewerby Hall and Gardens, a delightful stately home owned and managed by East Riding Council.

Day 1 - Outward Travel


Day 2 - York & York Cruise
Visit glorious York. Wander amidst the quaint Shambles that are towered over by the impressive York Minster, perhaps visit one of the world-class museums or simply relax in one of the many charming tearooms and watch the world go by! During our visit we’ll take to the waters of the River Ouse for a relaxing cruise to take in the sights./n

Day 3 - Day at Leisure & American Four Tops at Bridlington Spa
Enjoy a day at leisure in seaside Bridlington and then after dinner make your way to Bridlington Spa for an evening of entertainment and a performance from the American Four Tops. Bringing you a jam-packed show filled with sweet soul music and Motown magic featuring the voice of Mr William Hicks with all the hits from the Four Tops!/nBridlington Spa is located just across the road from the Monarch Hotel./n

Day 4 - Eden Camp & Pickering
Excursion to the award-winning Eden Camp. Explore the individual buildings that tells a different story of World War II history from the rise of fascism to the challenges on the Home Front. /nWe also visit the market town of Pickering - the gateway to the North York Moors National Park. /n

In a prime seafront location on Bridlington’s South beach, the Monarch
