Manchester’s award winning Christmas Markets attract thousands of visitors each year. This city wide event has more than 300 festooned stall s and chalets offering mouth watering food, drinks and Yuletide gifts./nSoak up the atmosphere and follow the market trail as it winds through the city centre, tempting you with gifts, crafts, jewellery, clothes and toys. /nEuropean and local producers offer everything from fine jewellery, handcrafted leather bags and top-quality bonsai trees, to handmade Belgian kitchenware, framed photo prints and French soaps./n

Day 3 - Alias Christmas Day


Day 4 - St Annes
Ashton Gardens is a charming public park in the heart of St Annes. Situated just 100 metres from The Square, where people go to shop or sit and watch the world go by./nSt Annes Pier was opened by Lord Stanley on June 15th 1885. It is well known for its fine Victorian wrought iron work that is still evident on the pier's superstructure today./n

Queens Hotel - Blackpool
