Bournemouth is superbly situated on the sunny South coast on top of spectacular cliffs which look down upon miles of golden sand. It is probably Britain's most international resort. Stroll through the splendid gardens or browse through the remarkable selection of shops. The town is full of flowers and there are beautifully manicured parks and gardens. The delightful "chines", small valleys in the cliffs, offer shady groves leading to the shore. The Lower Gardens and Central Gardens in particular provide a lush green contrast to the nearby beach. Day 4 - Poole 'Boxing Day'
The Georgian port of Poole has the second largest natural harbour in the world and provides an incredible range of maritime activities./nRedeveloped Poole Quay hosts the local museum, a pottery, a variety of pubs and restaurants, and the RNLI museum (fees may apply)./nThe visitor centre provides details of a one-hour walking tour of the Old Town, known as the Cockle Trail./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Devon Towers Hotel
Ideally situated on the West Cliff, the Devon Towers hotel in Bournemouth is a short walk from the sea front, International Centre, shops and pier. This hotel is popular among visitors who enjoy coach holidays to Bournemouth for the beautiful sandy shores. All 60 bedrooms are either centrally heated or provided with electric heating and all have private bath or shower and WC. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and TV with radio channels.
