The delightful mix of brick and stone buildings, colourful shop fronts, popular cafés and individual shops provide a relaxing environment for shopping or strolling. The town’s new leisure centre opened in 2016 with an array of modern facilities. Entertainments and art galleries are housed in the refurbished Spa Centre on the seafront.
