Day 1 - Outward Travel
Day 2 - Full Day - Ribble Valley & Oswaldtwistle Mills
Take a guided tour through the Ribble Valley and visit Clitheroe, Chatburn and Downham (guided tour included in tour cost). /nHear tales of the infamous 17th Century trial and execution of the Pendle Witches and learn about the Sabden Treacle Mines./nWe visit Oswaldtwistle Mills shopping village and return by the ‘Nick of Pendle’ road to Blackpool. /n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Today is left free to allow for relaxing in the hotel or exploring the local area. /nDon't hesitate to enquire with the hotel reception regarding local attractions and travel options.
Day 4 - Full Day - Southport
Delightful parks, a fabulous Marine Lake and one of the longest piers in Britain make Southport a perfect resort town. /nWide unspoiled beaches and splendid sand hills constitute one of the most important areas for nature conservation in the UK. /nLord Street, with its beautiful cast iron canopies and wide pavements, is home to delightful cafés and many restaurants./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Queens Hotel - Blackpool
