Lancaster castle museum provides a fascinating insight into the history of crime and punishment in the city (entry fees apply)./nWilliamson Park, home to the iconic Ashton Memorial, has a butterfly house and menagerie (entry fees may apply)./nWe take a relaxing cruise, crossing the Lune Valley on the spectacular aqueduct./n
Day 3 - Day at Leisure
Today is left free to allow for relaxing in the hotel or exploring the local area. /nDon't hesitate to enquire with the hotel reception regarding local attractions and travel options.
Day 4 - Lake Windermere Cruise & Grasmere
From the southern end of Lake Windermere we take a trip on the lake (fare included in the tour cost)./nEnjoy unique views of the lake-side mountains and fells./nOur boat lands at Bowness-on-Windermere, once a fishing village, now a major tourism hub./nThe Armitt Museum houses literary collections and artefacts from the lives of Lake District writers (entry fee applies)./n
Day 5 - Return Travel
Queens Hotel - Blackpool
Conveniently situated on South Promenade between Central and South Piers, the Queens Hotel is one of Blackpool’s larger hotels.
