Day 1 - Outward Travel


Day 2 - Full Day - Lakeside Railway & Windermere Cruise
We join the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway and journey through the Leven valley to the south end of Windermere./nThe scenic journey passes through woodland, with views of parts of the lake and large open meadows. /n(railway journey included in tour cost)/nWindermere is England's largest lake./nFrom the southern end of Lake Windermere we take a trip on the lake (fare included in the tour cost)./nEnjoy unique views of the lake-side mountains and fells./n

Day 3 - Day at Leisure

Day 4 - Grasmere & Keswick
The Armitt Museum houses literary collections and artefacts from the lives of Lake District writers (entry fee applies)./nKeswick is the busiest town in the North Lakes, situated beside scenic Derwent Water./nDiscover the fascinating history of an everyday item at the Pencil Museum (entry fee applies). /nLocal artefacts are displayed at the Keswick Museum & Art Gallery (entry fee applies)./n
