Our varied tour takes in the best known sights of the traditional province of Ulster, from Belfast and her historic shipbuilding quarter, to the Royal Residence of Hillsborough Castle, concluding at the dramatic coastline on the far West. Note that this holiday stays for 3 nights at the Adair Arms Hotel in Ballymena, 3 nights at the Bayview Hotel in Killybegs and one night in a hotel near Dublin on the return journey.

We enjoy a guided tour (included in tour cost) of this elegant and exciting city. /nOur tour takes us to the iconic City Hall, the Shankill and Falls Roads, and the more sedate Queen’s Quarter (subject to change)./nThe Titanic Quarter is one of Europe’s most exciting waterfront developments./n
Day 3 - Full Day - Bushmills & Giant’s Causeway
Bushmills is a small village in the far north of Northern Ireland, famed for its distillery./nThe spectacular tessellated bassalt columns of Giant's Causeway reputedly stretch all the way to Scotland./n
Day 4 - Full Day - Hillsborough Castle
We enjoy a tour of Northern Ireland’s Royal Residence (included in tour cost)./nThe castle was the location for the signing of the historic Anglo-Irish Agreement in 1985./nApart from the historic building, there are many well-tended gardens to explore./n
Day 5 - Day at Leisure
Today is left free to allow for relaxing in the hotel or exploring the local area. /nDon't hesitate to enquire with the hotel reception regarding local attractions and travel options.
Day 6 - Full Day - Slieve League and Glencolmcille Folk Village
The dramatic cliffs of Slieve League rise precipitously to 600m above the Atlantic Ocean./nThe cliffs are home to unique flora and fauna, but it's the scenery that is most enthralling./nThe visitor centre offers a friendly welcome and sells locally made crafts./nWe journey to the remote village of Glencolmcille, typical of the Irish speaking parts of Donegal./nWe visit the village's museum (included in tour cost) to learn about historic rural Donegal life./nThe area owes much to Fr James McDyer, founder of the museum and patron of many other local projects./n
