Full Day Excursion to Brecon Mountain Railway and Penderyn Distillery
Today we take a trip on the newly extended Brecon Mountain Railway, which winds its way high into the Beacons National Park (return fare included in tour cost). We continue to the village of Penderyn, home to Welsh Whisky (entrance and sample included in the tour cost).
Full Day Excursion to Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge
Today's journey takes us to the principal resort in west Wales, Aberystwyth, situated in a striking setting on a small promontory dividing two beaches and with steep hills behind and then on to Devil's Bridge, which stands over the River Mynach.
Half Day Excursion to Leominster
This atmospheric border town is famous for its half timbered medieval and Tudor buildings but there is also some splendid Georgian architecture.
Located in the heart of this Victorian spa town, the hotel faces a pleasant park and overlooks the town centre. All 50 bedrooms have bath, shower and WC, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The lift serves all floors in the main building. The Fountain restaurant offers table service dinner. The Radnor Bar is adjacent and the large ballroom offers entertainment most evenings. The hotel has a separate public bar for the younger guests.
