Nico Rosberg retires from Formula 1
In a shock announcement Nico Rosberg has today announced his retirement from Formula 1 with immediate effect. The news has come to a shock to many following him becoming World Champion for the first time on Sunday.
Rosberg has already had a long career in Formula 1 having been part of the sport for 10 years. His first race was in 2006 in Bahrain where he finished seventh. Rosberg joined Mercedes in 2010 and partnered Schumacher before Hamilton joined from McLaren in 2013.
