Changes to the Grand Prix Calendar

Following a meeting between the FIA, several changes have taken place to the 2017 F1 calendar. The first being Germany has been dropped from the calendar and the Brazilian fixture also looks in doubt but will be confirmed in January 2017.

Germany was unable to complete a deal to host the race at Hockenheim and the Nurburgring has financial problems and is also unable to host the race.

Meanwhile, the British Grand Prix has also moved dates from the provisional weekend of the 06-08 July and the Grand Prix will now be hosted on the 14-16 July 2017 instead.

The 2017 season will start on the 26 March 2017 and will end at Abu Dhabi on 26 November.
