More Strictly Come Dancing 2016 Celebrities announced
It won’t be long until our Saturday nights are filled with sequins and sparkle once again. The Strictly line up has been slowly announced over the last week. Here’s a list of a few of the newest celebrities ready to hit the dancefloor this Autumn in Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
Former Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac appeared in the soap from 2011-2015 and played Mark ‘Dogder’ Savage. Danny claims he is excited and terrified about joining the 2016 cast.
Singer Louise Redknapp is the next celebrity to join the Strictly line up. Famous for being part of the 90’s girl band Eternal and of course being married to footballer Jamie Redknapp, Louise is sure to wow.
Radio presenter on Kiss, Melvin Odoom is the next celebrity to line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2016. Melvin presents the Kiss FM breakfast show and was also the former presenter of the Xtra Factor on ITV 2.
Ore Oruba BBC Breakfast correspondent is known for presenting The National Lottery Draws and Newsround. You’ll currently spot Ore in Rio presenting at the Olympic Games.
TV presenter Laura Whitmore was the third celebrity confirmed for the 2016 Strictly line up. Best known for presenting I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here Now! this will be Laura’s first time as a contestant on a TV show.
37 year old Pop Idol winner Will Young will be taking to the Strictly Ballroom floor this year. Returning to the reality TV world, Will has decided now is the right time for him to join the multi-award winning show.
Ed will become the first male politician to star in Strictly Come Dancing. Previous MPs including Anne Widdecombe and Edwina Currie have pulled on their dancing shoes before him, but Ed seems to be ready for the challenge.
