A new more secure British Passport is launched
A new British Passport has been announced with additional features that mean it is the most secure travel document ever issued.
With included images of famous Brits and pictures of iconic buildings and historical landmarks it truly showcases all things British. Each page also appears to have a new design high security watermark of William Shakespeare in addition to a montage of the country’s scientific, architectural and artistic heritage.
Amongst those who feature are the painter John Constable, architect Elisabeth Scott and Ada Lovelace, one of the first computer programmer.
Additional features include adding a single sheet of paper from the details page to the rear to stop tampering and forgers.
