German Grand Prix Cut from 2015 f1 Season!
The 2015 German Grand Prix has been cut from the racing schedule leaving just 19 races in this year’s Grand Prix calendar.
Over the last few months there has been heavy speculation about where the race would be held as it normally alternates between Hockenheim and the Nurburgring, however the new owners of the Nurburgring were unwilling to pay the hosting fees for the race scheduled on the 19th July.
Holkenheim was asked to step in, but failed to agree terms with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone at such late notice and as a result this year will be the first time since 1960 that a German Grand Prix has not taken place.
