The Albatross Group Celebrates 30 Years!
The Door2Tour.com team were thrilled to help celebrate The Albatross Group’s 30 Year Anniversary this weekend with a special company-wide Annual Convention. Door2Tour.com was created by the Albatross Group in 2006 and still sits under the brand today.
The Albatross Group was founded by Manfred & Sally Thelen in 1985 in a small office in North London. Thirty years on and The Albatross Group has become a collection of nine award-winning tourism businesses all helping to lead the way in coach travel and innovation.
The 30th Birthday celebrations were held in London and as a result included a visit to the View from the Shard, the London Dungeon Experience and a River Cruise Party along the Thames. The weekend was then rounded up with a Gala dinner, themed ‘A Night At the Oscars’ with a number of suppliers from The Shard to Tourism Ireland in attendance.
