Sinister goings on Up at the O2
If you happen to be at the O2 this Halloween, you're in for a spooky time, especially if you choose to climb to the top with Up at the O2.
This popular London attraction will be upping the stakes in the scare factor providing visitors with the chance to experience a haunted climb. The theme of this new climb will be lost explorers and live actors will be used to add to the scariness.
The 'Climb of the Cursed – Final Ascent' will allow visitors to climb the iconic walkway from Base Camp to the very top in the dark providing a different perspective of the city at night. The fabric walkway will be suspended 52 m in the air and will take climbers to an Observation Deck where you'll be able to take in the wonderful views of London at night. At various intervals during the walk, there will be actors telling tales of Halloween to add to the thrill of the experience. There will also be a number of other scary surprises along the walk – you have been warned!
You could always combine your Halloween climb with a visit to the British Music Experience, catch a film at the cinema or have a bite to eat in one of the many bars and restaurants at the O2 – depending on availability whilst you're there.
