Welsh Coach Of The Year
The accolade of Welsh Coach of the Year has been awarded to Edwards Coaches at the UK Coach Rally 2013.
This year's UK Coach Rally took place at the Alton Towers Resort on 20th April 2013 where the Neoplan Starliner from Edwards Coaches was up against a variety of other great looking coaches. There were a number of factors considered before the Starliner was awarded Welsh Coach of the Year and these included: exterior bodywork, interior and legroom, engine, cleanliness, uniform, accessibility of the coach and the driver's compartment. Edwards Coaches were commended on the striking white interior of the Starliner in addition to the wooden floor, panoramic views and much more.
The UK Coach Rally showcases the very best in coaching and people from the industry celebrating the hard work and attention to detail in providing excellent quality in transport.
Edwards Coaches were absolutely delighted with the accolade as it is their aim to provide the finest transport for their passengers. Jason Edwards, Commercial Director, said "We feel that the coach and the professionalism of our drivers is what can make or break a holiday so we want to provide the very best for our customers and to be recognised for this is a great achievement for the entire time at Edwards Coaches."
The Neoplan Starliner has already been put to the test after joining the fleet travelling to destinations such as Lake Garda, London and Holland. Another two coaches will be added to the Edwards fleet in early summer, with one already chosen as the new vehicle for the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU).
