Book coach breaks to 'The Go-Between', the latest show to hit London’s West End at the Apollo Theatre. Opening for a limited time only between 27 May and 15 October 2016, the show sees the return of stage legend Michael Crawford since his performance in the Wizard of Oz.
Show Summary
Michael Crawford takes the lead role in this British-based musical following the life of Leo Colston in the hot summer of a 1900's Norfolk country home. Leo finds himself embroiled as the go-between in an illicit, secret love affair between an upper-class lady and a farmer. Based on the dramatic events that shape Leo's life forever, the show is adapted from the 1953 novel by L.P. Hartley as Leo comes of age and struggles to hide from his past.
The show comes from other theatres in the UK including the Yorkshire Playhouse, where it won the award for Best Musical Production at the Theatre Awards UK.
